Product Details
This fingering weight shawl is created using two very unique "cluster" stitches. I think you'll find it fun to make and to wear. The cluster stitches add a dimension to the shawl that's rarely seen in knitting pattern, and the stitches are also integrated with a Japanese ladder stitch. The result is a unique and elegant shawl.
The shawl was designed in a unique way, and no grafting or kitchener stitch is required.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming lace knitting experience)
The border and focal stitch are both charted only.
The shawl was co-designed with, and expertly tested by Page Page Zelasko
Handmaiden's Casbah yarn was used in the sample however, any heavy weight fingering yarn or sport weight yarn wll work for this pattern.
No crochet hooks are needed if you do not want to crochet an edging.
