I use this yarn a lot for making toys and children's clothes, it washes well and is good value.
An excellent, money saving way to buy this yarn, not the highest quality, but very good value for money, and great for making toys and children's clothes.
I knit greyhound snoods for a greyhound rescue charity. They are sold online, so it’s essential to use good quality yarn, that will be soft for a dog to wear. Paintbox Aran fits the bill perfectly. I’m told the snoods wash well, by hand and by machine and they don't loose their shape. The colours are always as described online and the 5 and 10 packs offer good value for money, as I buy the wool myself. I recommend Paintbox Aran 100%,
Colors are true and yarn works up soft. I have made several blankets that I love.
Soft and so pleasant to work with.
Acrylic yarn is not my favourite. However this knitted up very well and the end result was good. If you want a garment to last wool is the better yarn to use though it is more expensive. You get what you pay for. Liked the colours very much. As the garment was a gift to someone else I. Keft the washing instructions with them.
