Inspired by my own Autumn sea stolemotif this pullover was born naturally from my need to have something laconic, neutral in colours and elegant. I found the perfect yarn to show off the motif and the pullover’s name is inherited from the yarn's colorway. Perfect blend of grey and beige is soothing to knit, yet set-in sleeve construction when sleeves are worked in parallel with body with increases will keep you entertained.
The pullover is worked from top-down, starting with casting stitches for the back. Short rows are used to elevate shoulders and to shape the back neckline. Each front shoulder is worked separately, shaping both shoulder and front neckline. Sleeve stitches are picked next and further the yoke is worked together, shaping shoulder caps with increases. After front neckline shaping is completed, the yoke is joined to work in round, continuing with sleeve caps increases and introducing body increases.
