Product Details
This circular scarf is worked entirely in the round from a provisional cast-on edge. The last round of the scarf is grafted to the provisional cast-on edge using Kitchener stitch. A half twist is created in the scarf by grafting the first stitch of the last round to the middle stitch of the cast-on. The colorwork pattern is presented in chart form only.
Finished measurements: Circumference: 35” / 89 cm Width: 9 ¾“ / 75 cm
Needles: Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needle 16” / 40 cm or in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle, waste yarn for provisional CO, spare needle for grafting
Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch To save time and to ensure accurate sizing, check gauge.
