There are 7 different colors in this hat, but the total finished hat weighs little more than 2 ounces. Kits are available via our website with ample amounts of my favorite yarn to knit the hat as designed.Tips for knitting my hats can also be found there - www.mrsknitterdesigns.com Any fingering weight yarns that come in colors suitable for the design can be used. I'll look forward to seeing a picture of your interpretations of this tam/beanie.
