Want a good, mindless doily pattern you can work up quickly for the holidays? This doily is made using mostly front-post double crochet stitch sections, separated by chain-2 spaces, with 8 "increase stitches" (2fpdc in one stitch) to steadily grow the doily each round. Pattern calls for 33 rounds which was the number of rounds I was able to fully complete using only 1 skein of Aunt Lydia's Classic 10 crochet thread in color Shaded Christmas, making the doily 12" in diameter once blocked. Gauge and desired finished size may affect the amount of thread needed to complete project.
