Picnic Blanket

This blanket is knitted from center out, the increases are done every other row. When you have more than enough knitted fabric on one circular needle, change to longer circular needle. Later use more than one circular needle around the perimeter. The blanket is finished with I-cord bind off with four loops than can help carry the blanket, or may be used for securing the blanket to the ground.
Finished Size:
52” / 132 cm diameter.
Also you will need about 1.5 yard of fabric (54” wide) or 2.5 yards (43” wide) for the bottom of the blanket.
For this blanket size I have used 13 skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash Sport.
