Enjoy making this Picots Bonnet Hat. “Picots” is an easy to crochet bonnet pattern for a newborn baby. It has a lovely broomstick lace and picots edging which gives it a lacy and vintage feel.
Skill Level: Easy
Suggested Yarns: You can use any Aran weight yarn for making this hat. You will need approximately 50 yards of yarn in Color A and 15 yards of yarn in Color B.
I Used: Caron Simply Soft Solids(100% Acrylic; 315 yds[288m]/6 oz [170 g]; CYCA # 4): #9509 Grey Heather, #14 Pagoda, 1 skein each.
Crochet Hook Size: 5.5mm/ I Crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
Finished Size:
Infant Size: Circumference – 14”, Height – 5”
