Pike Stout is a poncho that doesn't overwhelm a small frame. I'm 5' tall and always wanted to own one of these snuggly, oversized pieces. It's knit seamlessly from the top down, with minimal seaming along the cuffs. Short rows create depth at front and back, and the shaping allows your shirt and hips to show, for a more balanced silhouette. The pattern includes notes on how to modify for depth or width. Poncho should be worn with plenty of ease. If substituting yarn, a heavy worsted - aran weight natural wool will give you the look and feel of the original sample.
