Product Details
Knit our Pinafore Dress suitable to fit a baby/child from 6 months to 3 years old.
Design The Dress has a flower pattern and moss stitch edgings. The front and back are knitted separately and sewn together at the sides. Two buttons are stitched on to the front straps.
Sizes The pattern includes 5 sizes to fit a child: 6m, 12m, 18m, 2yrs and 3 years old.
Yarn The pattern uses 4 ply wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA Sport or Australian 5 ply). The picture shows the outfit knitted for size 2 years old using Sirdar Snuggly 4 Ply in shades Lilac (0219) and White (0251).
Tension 28 sts and 36 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 3.25 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.
Needles Sizes 2.75 mm and 3.25 mm (USA 2 and 3) straight needles are required.
