Product Details

To make a pinky promise, or pinky swear, is a traditional gesture most commonly practiced amongst children involving the locking of the pinkies of two people to signify that a promise has been made. The gesture is taken to signify that the person can break the finger of the one who broke the promise.

I pinky promise to always be in these three places: in front of you to cheer you on; behind you to have your back; and next to you so you’re never alone. -Anonymous

This pattern contains instructions for 2 different lengths of mitts as well as well as an option to make mittens.

PRINTING Note: This is a checklist pattern; it is not necessary to print the entire pattern if you prefer not to use the checkboxes for each section.

PATTERN NOTES: The little “bows” of texture stitches on this design reminded me of two little hands connected at the pink fingers and I couldn’t get that image out of my mind. The mitts are designed to be knit with 1-2” of negative ease.
