Product Details
I designed this some years ago, and it sold really well in its first year, then sales tapered off. I always intended to write up the pattern, and several people asked for it, but I've only just got around to it.
I love this hood! I have several myself, and they're great in really cold weather. They cover your whole head and neck, including your ears, and tuck into the top of your coat to keep you extra cosy. I call them a hug you can wear. I do recommend putting long hair into a ponytail, though, as they can mess it up a little.
To make this hood, you really only need to know how to knit and purl, decrease knitwise, make stitches, and do a simple cable. The tassel is fun and easy to make, and adds a finishing flourish, but you could also use a pompom if you prefer.
