Porto connection is worked flat, increasing along one edge to create a slightly asymmetrical triangle. Stitches are increased in pattern and then onward into the 1x1 ribbing. Theslip stitch stripe design means that you only work with one color on any given row. The combination of easy slip stitch pattern stripes and the ribbing give this shawl a sophisticated yet casual look.
