What you'll need
Product Details
This one-skein, crocheted cowl pattern has a simple 16 stitch and 8 round repeat which makes it easy to memorize and creates a simple and elegant piece.
It uses filet crochet to create lace holes that work up in a spiral around the cowl, alongside Herringbone Trebles that create a flat, drapey fabric.
The pattern gives hook sizes, gauge information estimated circumference and depth of finished object over seven yarn weights (heavily laceweight, 4ply/fingering, heavy 4 ply/fingering, sportweight, DK, aran/worsted, chunky/bulky).
Details are given on the likely circumference for the number of pattern repeats and likely finished depth. This is given for each yarn weight.
Yarn: One 100g skein of any weight from heavy laceweight to aran/worsted. You can create whatever fabric density you like and in any fibre of your choice, so long as you like the resulting fabric.
Hook: Various depending on yarn weight used. Sizes and gauges are suggested in the pattern.
