Product Details
The blanket requires 2 x 100 gram balls of the main colour and 1 x 100 gram ball of the contrast.
It is worked with in one piece, twisting the two yarns at each colour change to prevent holes from forming.
The border is moss stitch and the side panels are worked in reverse stocking stitch with a stocking stitch motif, resembling a branch, along its length.
The main section of the blanket has a stocking stitch background, with moss stitch and reverse stocking stitch depicting the body and face of the owl. The tail is created with a version of twisted rib, and a further speciality stitch has been used to give the appearance of feathers on the wing.
