Print of the Wave Fingerless Mittens
My Print of the Wave fingerless mittens have been designed to compliment my Print of the Wave Beanie and both were designed for those who wished to try a lace knitting project on a smaller scale. I have used a traditional Shetland lace stitch – the ‘Print of the Wave’ on my mittens. My samples are knitted in the wonderfully soft ‘Lalland’ by Di Gilpin, a sportsweight yarn, and take just one 50g ball so are a really fast knit but any light DK/Sports weight yarn will work!
The Print of the Wave lace is just on the back of each mitten and the lace is mirrored on each hand so take care to use the correct chart for the correct hand!
