I designed this scarf to provide warmth around the neck but with a lacy appearance. So it starts with dense fabric at the neck, progressively moving to more open and lacy at the ends. Optional beaded edges add weight, or try a shell edging or picot edging or add a fringe - the choice is yours! Takes only one 100g skein of 4 ply/fingering weight yarn. Finished size approx 20cm wide by 150cm long. My sample used just under one skein, probably about 395m. The pattern is written in English and US terminology, and is also charted.
