Product Details
The pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) inhabits grasslands and deserts from southern Canada, through the west of the US, into Mexico. Although it looks like a mash-up of a goat, a deer and an antelope, it is neither. It is in a family of its own and its closest living relatives are the giraffes and okapi! And although pronghorns are good athletes, they spend most of their time grazing the day away.
This model measures 18 cm lengthwise. It is a medium knit, it requires some intarsia, i-cord and short row knitting, knitting both in the round and flat and transferring/picking up of stitches. This pronghorn is knitted on (15 cm-) double pointed needles in Rowan Felted Tweed (157) camel and (188) Jaffa, Lana Grossa Voi Ragazza (07) white and Phildar Laine Mohair Soie (0101) Noir. Pipe cleaners are used in the limbs.
