Quaternion socks are perfect for using leftovers and scraps of sock yarn. Every sockknitter has lots of scrap yarn, isn’t it ?
You will need 4 colours. Choose highly contrasting colours to have fun socks, or softer shades to have a sort of gradient socks. The pattern gives the measures of each colour section depending on your shoe size.
These socks are worked from toes up, with an afterthought heel.
They are available in 7 foot width: 2XS/XS (S/M/L/XL/2XL), depending on foot width:
16/18 (20/22/24/26/28) cm / 6½/7 (8/8½/9½/10¼/11)
inches of circumference. Sizes 2XS and XS fit children’s
feet.
Shoe sizes: (FR) 26-29, 30-33, 34-36, 37-39, 40-42, 43-45 / (US) 9-12, 12.5-2, 3-5, 6-7, 7.5-8.5, 9.5-11.
You will need 50 to 100 meters / 55 to 110 yards of each colour.
