Rainbow market bag

Knit yourself a bright but practical net market bag in vibrant rainbow colours. Use it for shopping or for toy storage or for picnics or trips to the beach. Wherever you use it, it's bound to make people smile!

Knitting it in the round, in worsted cotton and all in one piece with no seams or weak points makes it incredibly strong and hard-wearing.

You will be pleased to know that this bag is completely seamless, because I hate sewing up seams! You should only have two ends to sew in, at the start and the end.

Obviously if you prefer to knit a plain bag, just ignore all the instructions for changing colour!

All instructions are for circular needles and magic loop, but obviously the whole thing can be knitted on double pointed needles if you prefer.

A note on yarns: I originally used Rico Creative Cotton for the red, Drops Paris for the orange, blue and pink, and Paintbox Cotton Aran for the yellow, green and purple. I would now recommend Hoooked Soft Cotton DK as it's 100% recycled.
