What you'll need
Product Details
This bandana cowl is knit from the bottom up with a bit of garter stitch, a few yarn overs, and a whole lot of stockinette! There are two options for the collar, i cord edging or ribbing, and loads of colorwork details in duplicate stitch. These range from a simple large lightning bolt to a second contrast color for added depth to a collage of tiny lightning bolts that fill up more of the negative space. There are also modification options for a slouchy or snug fit, as well as switching to intarsia, if you prefer that technique. This pattern really allows knitters to experiment with different fibers in a fun and interesting way that isn’t overwhelming. The sample features recycled sari silk and roving, but cotton, boucle, hand spun, or even craft ribbon can also be used! Yarn: 261 -348 yards (176 for the MC, 87 for CC1, and 87 for CC2)
