I suggest Drops Merino extra fine yarn. It's DK/8ply. 1.8oz (50g) = approx 115yds (105m). I recommend needle size 3.5mm (US4) needle because after washing the finished project from these yarn it loosens. Knitting with larger needle means the project will be looser. It's best to use circle needle because there are many stitches, but you can also use straight needle if that is comfortable for you.
