This easy 3x3 ribbed winter hat knitting pattern from Lily B's has been created with cooler weather in mind. You can wear this hat with the brim rolled up like a classic winter hat, or with the brim unrolled as a more trendy slouchy hat. It's soft, squishy and has incredible stretch.
I designed this pattern using craft store acrylic because I find that it washes and dries well in the machine and it gets softer and softer each time you wash it.
However, if you prefer working with a different yarn, any comparable yarn would work, as well.
