Product Details

I have designed this sweater together with my friend and tech editor Brandie Brunner.

Have you ever been mesmerized by the way raindrops land on a pane of glass, then run together into tiny streams? That phenomenon inspired the Rivulets stitch pattern showcased in this sweater, which features splitting and merging columns of knit and purl stitches punctuated with eyelets.

The sweater is knit in the round from the top down and features contiguous sleeves, a construction choice that allows the stitch pattern to flow smoothly and uninterrupted over the shoulders and into the body. oothly and uninterrupted over the shoulders and into the body. It has an unusual approach to sizing; depending on your choice of needles and yarn, you will end up with a different size. The pattern gives detailed information about this. Thanks to the extreme elasticity of the stitch pattern, any given Rivulets sweater will fit a broad range of body sizes and shapes.

So with a gauge of 24 (23, 22, 21, 20) stitches and 36 rounds in 10 cm or 4 in, you will end up with a sweater size 35.5 (36.75, 38.25, 39.75, 41.25).

The sample was knit in Knit Picks Palette. A substitute yarn is shown below.
