Product Details
It feels like their should be bagpipes playing to announce the Robert Burns Tea Cosy knitting pattern. This wonderful knitting pattern is perfect to make for Burns night and its packed full of references to Roberts Burns works.
Burns has a cup and saucer at his side, this is a 'cup o'kindness', for auld lang syne. and on the cup rests a robin, who might be the same one that cam to a wren's nest? In his jacket button hole he wears 'A Red, Red Rose', and in one of his pockets lives a little mousie who needed a new house after his was spoilt. In Roberts Burn's hands he carries a platter with a haggis, that he looks as if he were about to address. Around the back of the tea cosy is Nannie wearing her cutty sark. Nannie holding up Maggie's tail that she pulled off in the chase after Tam O'Shanter.
The Robert Burns tea cosy is such a joy to knit and is perfect for burns night celebrations, and its brilliant for keeping the teapot hot.
