Product Details
The Robina shawl is a triangle that is knitted sideways, starting with 4 stitches and growing into a shawl that is large enough to snuggle into. It uses 2 skeins of fingering/4 ply yarn, perfect for using a skein of special hand dyed yarn contrasted with a neutral or plain colour.
The size can easily be varied and other yarns substituted, after the mesh stripe just keep knitting until you have the size you want or you run out of yarn.
The 2-row garter stitch striping is very simple to knit; the yarn is carried up the side of the fabric so there are very few ends to weave in.
Shown in Skein Queen Mountain Heather and Financial Times.
