Rosy Maple Moth square

This pattern uses the overlay mosaic crochet method & features a beautiful Rosy Maple Moth in pretty pink & yellow. This square is the same size as my others, and great to use for pillows, place mats, table runners, wall hangings, or put a few squares together for a block afghan!

This pattern includes a fully marked colorized chart & written row-by-row instructions, plus links to helpful videos on the methods I use.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

This is a great way to use up scraps! For projects using all the colors in the image, using med #4 yarn & a 5.5mm hook, you will need approximately 2 oz of the background color, 1-1.5 oz of pink & yellow, and a few yards of white, dark magenta & orange, however you can use whatever colors you like.
