Product Details
Sampler squares of traditional Sanquhar patterns stitched onto fabric background. Originally designed to accompany an article about the story of Sanquhar in Knitting Magazine April 2009.
Yarn available from www.silverknitting.co.uk, takes 12g snowhite and 12g black. You will also need a piece of black fabric measuring 63cm (25” )x 33 (13”) - the width plus 2 seam allowances x twice the length plus 2 seam allowances of the cushion pad.

This pattern is adaptable to your own needs. Instructions and materials are modelled on a 12 inch cushion using 9 sample blocks although all 16 traditional patterns are given in this pattern – the choice is yours. Yarn amounts given are based on average requirements and are approximate.
