Product Details

This wrap has taken a long time from cast on to its release because of multiple events that life had to offer. I’m happy to have it finally out in the world, almost like a “despite all odds” feeling, which makes it extra special. I have named this extra special wrap after my favourite aunt who we lost to cancer on a december day not too long ago.

This is a top down triangular wrap. The body includes some texture using simple knit and purl stitch combinations and some contrast colour for effect. The contrast colour is mainly used to work the lace pattern as well as an applied lace edge bind off.

Yarn: 650yds (594m) of MC and 580yds (530m) of CC in fingering weight. Yarns used in sample are MC: ColourMart Cashmere/Cotton/Angora/Merino/Viscose 3/15NM, CC: Schoppel Zauberball 100, Colourway Hot Iron.

Needles: US size 5 (3.75mm) needles.

Gauge: 20 sts and 34 rows = 4” (10cm) in st st after blocking.

Difficulty: Intermediate.
