Product Details

A warm, weekend sweater for wearing on lazy Sunday mornings. It’s simple to do, is worked mostly in the round, and is suitable for beginners.

The wearer will appreciate the saddle-sleeve shoulders which give a comfortable fit, and the round neck which doesn’t fit too closely.

The body is worked bottom-up in the round, and divided for the front and back, where the work continues in rows. The sleeves are also worked bottom-up in the round as far as the sleeve head, where the work continues in rows.

Shoulder and armhole seaming is all that’s needed.

The sweater can be made in one colour, or with contrast sleeves. Yarn quantities for the two-colour version are:

Main Color: 415(490, 580, 670, 760) meters/455(540, 635, 735,830) yards chunky/bulky weight yarn, 7 wpi.

Contrast Color: 310( 350, 380, 403, 420) meters/340(385, 415, 441, 460) yards chunky/bulky weight yarn, 7 wpi.

Full written instructions and a chart are included in the pattern.
