Scarecrow Afghan

The Scarecrow Afghan is crocheted using the standard corner to corner (C2C) method of double crocheted blocks. You can also use this pattern for Tunisian crochet, mini c2c, cross stitch, or any other craft that utilizes a graph.

This is an intermediate level pattern that uses 9 different yarn colors. The graph is 80 blocks by 100 blocks and the finished blanket measures 56” (4’ 7”) Width x 74.5” (6’ 2”) Length. You can make a smaller blanket by using the mini C2C that uses half double crochets or you can opt to use a smaller weight yarn and a smaller hook, which will decrease the overall size of the blanket.

You will need size 4 medium weight yarn, an H/8 (5.00 mm) crochet hook and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
