Product Details
Scotts is a bottom up triangle shawl with unique slip stitches that create thirteen defined lines up the garter background. The sample was designed in a merino/yak/silk blend that has so much delicious drape. If you use a toothier wool yarn then your slip stitches will stand out more and have a stiffer triangle.
The name Scotts was inspired by my trip to Scotland (where I purchased this yarn) and the Scotts monument in Edinburgh. I hope you love the striking simplicity of this shawl as much as I do.

YARN 800 yards (732 meters) of fingering weight yarn
NEEDLES US 5 (3.75mm) / 32” (80cm needle) or longer
NOTIONS Tapestry needle 30 + Stitch Markers
GAUGE 20 stitches by 26 garter bumps = 4 inches (10 cm) in blocked garter
Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge if necessary!
