Product Details
A warm, chunky hat to throw on for that walk by the sparkly, winter sea. Random intervals of moss (USA seed) stitch and garter stitch, with shots of sparkly thread, make for a lovely texture that matches the Sea Silver Shawl.
There are 4 sizes - Toddler, Child, Adult and Large Adult. A double folded back layer is great for keeping out winter breezes. Knitted flat on 2 needles and sewn up, OR knitted in the round on circular needles. Any chunky yarn should be okay- the yarn in the photos is Paintbox Simply Chunky - Misty Grey, Champagne White and Seafoam Blue. The sparkly thread is also listed below, although it can be omitted if desired. Instructions are written line by line with British/American terms.
Suitable for the confident beginner and yet interesting enough for the experienced knitter who likes to world watch or natter with friends and knit at the same time.
Please click on my name for lots of patterns inc a matching shawl/scarf, many owl ones and a free owl scarf. Thank you.
