Product Details

Here in British Columbia we have a spectacular coast line. It is rugged and dense, and the colours are rich and moody.

This hat is a meeting of texture and colour, aimed at emulating that view. Sea to Sky is worked in single-ply fingering weight merino, and is great for using leftovers, a stash of Unicorn Tails or minis. The yarn is marled and then faded to create a colour gradient from sea to sky. Garter and stockinette are used to create the depth of texture found in nature.

Worked on larger needles with yarn held double, Sea to Sky is a quick satisfying project, and a great stash buster. There are two hat versions in this pattern: a relaxed beanie and a longer option for a slouchier profile. Colour choices are unlimited! Make Sea to Sky in the suggested colours, or paint a whole new experience in colours of your own choosing.
