Product Details
Originally, I was envisioning a banner made up of these stars for the 4th of July, but I didn't get around to making it in time for holiday decorating, so I decided to just have coasters instead. I have really been toying with the idea of a patriotic themed home lately, so these could be perfect for that too!
Materials: Small amount of worsted weight cotton yarn (I used Lily Sugar n Cream), H8/5mm crochet hook, tapesetry needle, and a pair of jewelry pliers is useful.
Material Notes:
Yarn Alternatives: Bernat Handicrafter, Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran, Rico Creative Cotton Aran, Crafter's Secret Cotton Yarn (from Hobby Lobby).
Time: 10 minutes each.
**Measurements:**Space for Cup: 2.25"; Total from one point across to another: 4"
Abbreviations: SC, HDC, DC, TR & QUAD (Explained)

- Notes
- Jewelry pliers are an excellent tool to use to help weave in ends, as cotton yarn can be quite tough on the fingers when weaving in with just fingers
