Product Details
September Morn is my favorite kind of knit. A classic sweater with a few surprises that makes a great wardrobe staple. Ribs and texture give the sweater a little personality, but the shape is simple and flattering and works with almost any outfit.
The combination of stockinettte with a few details makes for a fun knit, soothing and easy to work, with a few spots that keep you thinking. Top down construction makes for easy modifications and there are instructions in the pattern on how to do so. You can alter the depth or width of the cowl, change the fit in the arms or body or modify the length for any length that is most flattering on you. A subtly variegated worsted merino adds depth to the stockinette and looks great in both the texture and the ribs.
The Shalimar Yarns, Enzo, adds a little delicacy to the sweater, making it a perfect lightweight layering piece. It's soft and lightweight, but warm and cozy at the same time. Suggested substitute yarns are below. Always check your gauge.
