Shadows is an asymmetric shawl design that prominently features a variegated yarn with an accent color that pops! This is the perfect shawl for a heavy or lightly variegated yarn and then your choice of contrast for the lace that makes it shine.
The name of this shawl comes from the play of colors in the variegated yarn. I saw the shadows that move along the forest floor when the breeze is blowing. The lace is simple to memorize and fully written out (there are no charts for this pattern), the same lace is repeated throughout the shawl.
