Product Details
This is a simple garter stitch blanket with hardly any finishing at all, except for sewing in ends, as you pick up stitches from one section and attach them to one another as you’re binding off the next section.
Simple enough for the adventurous beginner and interesting enough for the seasoned knitter, there are various links and a photo tutorial to help with techniques used in the pattern, such as picking up stitches and a modified 3-needle bind off. There are also some schematics included in each section to help illustrate how the blanket is put together.
Originally designed to use fingering weight yarn, this blanket can easily be made bigger by adding more repeats of the various sections, or by knitting this in a worsted or aran weight yarn.
