After reading a post in one of the forums saying that “there are no dog sweater patterns suitable for beginners” I started creating this simple pattern. My aim was to make it as simple as possible, suitable for beginners and nice to look at.
The finished garment stretches easily - suits growing and/or active little dogs.
Pattern suitable for advanced (adventurous) beginner: knit, wrap and turn, cast on/off in the middle/back of the row.
Finished measurements:
S around chest 12.5in/31cm, back length 10.5in/26cm.
M around chest 14in/35cm, back length 11.6in/29cm.
L around chest 15.5in/39cm, back length 12.8in/32cm.

- Yarn DK (11 wpi), S: 120m/131yd; M: 165m/181yd; L: 188m/206yd
- Knitting needles 3.75 mm (US 5)
