Product Details

Learn the Brioche stitch while making this scarf  which is made using both a single and a double brioche stitch. The single brioche is similar to a traditional ribbing, so it is used for the center part of the scarf. The panels are made using the double brioche stitch.

There are also instructions for an optional edging should you wish to do that. The blocking stage of this stitch is also very important and suggestions on how to do it are included in that section.

Skill Level: Beginner + - Intermediate (assuming a working knowledge of Knitting, Purling and YO’s): This is a great learning brioche pattern, if the stitch is new to you.

The sample shown here was made using Lorna Laces Honor Yarn in Glendale.

Any dk weight yarn yielding 5 sts/inch using (US) size #6 needles (4.00mm) needles, in stockinette stitch will work for this pattern.  Gauge is not critical for this pattern.
