The pattern can be used with all types of 8ply (DK) yarn so you can make warm winter cardigans with wool and summer versions with cotton.
For a bit of creative fun, experiment with different colour schemes, just change the colours for trim and main body. Instructions for pretty embroidery circles is included. I used a colour gradient yarn, but will look charming in solid or self striping as well.
It is a quick and easy to knit, flat pattern with super easy garter stitch bands and minimal shaping involved.
The pattern comes in 6 sizes to fit 0-6 months, 6 - 12 months, 1-2 years, 2-3 years, 4-5 years and 6-7 years.
Uses any type DK yarn: 150 (150,200,300,300,350) g in main colour and 50 g in contrast colour for bands and 4mm (US6) knitting needles.
