Product Details

This shawl is shaped to fit around your neck and with the use of a few ingenious loops you can ensure it will not come loose. It has a subtle colour effect created with the use of simple slipped stitches. It is also reversible with a different pattern on the front and back.

This asymmetrical shawl has a wingspan of 150cm (59in) along the longest edge and a depth of 28cm (11in) at the deepest point, after blocking.

Any two fingering/4ply/sock contrasting yarns will do. I used 1 x 50g ball of Sock Yeah in shade Topaz for the main colour A (with approx 5g left over) and 1 x 100g ball of Skein Queen Crush in Lighthouse for the contrast colour B (65g left over). You will also need either 2 straight or 1 circular 3.5mm (UK 10/9, US 4) knitting needles and a tapestry needle to weave in ends and fasten down the loops. You may also find a pair of 3.5mm (UK 10/9, US 4) or 3.75mm (UK 9, US 5) double pointed needles helpful when working the i-cord loops, but they are not essential.
