Worked in brilliant oranges and deep blues the longest night of the year comes to life in a richly sparkling hat of stars. The starlight on this hat is worked with warmer shades of gold and orange to emulate the warmth of candles at midnight while we wait out the deep darkness to be reborn in the next cycle of light.
This hat is worked from the bottom up with a hemmed brim. The chart is worked using the stranded method. Always pick up the darker color over the lighter color and pick up the lighter color from under the darkercolor. Keep floats loose. For floats longer than seven stitches, tack stranded yarn on the wrong side of the work.
