Product Details
The Spires Shawl features a lacy chevron pattern with jagged decreases along one edge reminiscent of the spires on a castle.
The triangular shawl is worked from one vertex, increasing along one edge with jagged decreases along the other edge. The pattern is a great project for that one special skein of fingering weight yarn, but can also be worked with any yarn weight. Instructions are included to make an increase only shawl too.
Level: Easy The pattern uses basic stitches with two special decrease stitches, and features an easy repeat. There is a detailed picture tutorial.
Size: Adjustable. You will work the increase pattern until you have used approximately 2/3 of your yarn, then work the decrease pattern. For the increase only version, you work the shawl until it reaches your desired size.
