The block is worked in the round and always from the front, using a combination of stitches and colours to create the design. The pattern is for the full hexagon and matching half hexagon motifs. Included in the PDF download are step by step photos and detailed written instructions.
The pattern is written in UK terminology, with a conversion chart to US terminology at the top of the pattern.
Beginner: there’s a few different techniques in this pattern, but nothing particularly difficult.
You’ll need: DK/8 ply yarn in 4 colours, 4mm crochet hook, yarn needle.
Block sizes: Full hexagon - 13cm x 12cm, half hexagon - 13cm x 6 cm
