Springtime Lilly and May

Lilly and May dolls have new outfits for the spring.

Lilly doll has a pretty dress and matching cardigan with picot edging to the sleeves and skirt hem, her outfit has a contrast stripe detail at the hems.

May doll wears a two-tone dress with stripes on the skirt, and a smart matching cardigan with contrast trim.

You can choose between knitted-in socks and shoes (socks and shoes are knitted as part of the leg and not removeable) or bare feet, in which case you can knit sweet little shoes to change with their outfits.

Their knitted hair with co-ordinated hair bows is very simple to do, and of course it will never become untidy!

This pattern includes the dolls, Picot edge dress and cardigan, stripe dress and contrast edge cardigan, all in one socks and shoes.

Both the dolls and their clothes are knitted flat on standard straight needles and seamed. Basic stitches are uses throughout for the dolls, which are knitted from the head downthe arms and hair are knitted and sewn on later.
