What you'll need
Product Details
A cute circular bag, suitable for many uses – for small projects, holding yarn, make up, gifts. I designed this for a crochet workshop, and I made my first one in a strong mercerised cotton yarn which gave it a good finish. It could be made in any yarn - I have used several yarns from dk to aran, cotton to merino, and I love each one! Why did I call it St David's Flower Bag? Well, after languishing in my unpublished designs for a long while I decided to publish it on the first day of Ravelry's International Crochet Month - 1st March, also St David's Day! The bag is worked in one piece in the round from the base upwards. For ease, the stitches are worked, in the main, in between stitches on the previous row. Using this technique helps avoid the common problem with working in the round – not knowing exactly where to place your hook and ending up increasing stitches! . Please note this is written in English crochet terms only, and is partially charted.
