Product Details
Anyone who knows me will tell you that it was quite a while since I was at school. Despite this, I still have one pair of socks from my school uniform that have survived all these years and are still in regular use. I thought it might be nice to recognise their longevity and recreate them.
These toe-up socks feature a simple pattern of twisted stitches, along with a reverse stocking stitch gusset and an Eye of Partridge heel flap. The pattern is written with instructions for Magic Loop but there is no reason why you shouldn't knit with another style of needle if that is your preference.
Techniques Used• Magic Loop • Judy's Magic Cast-On • Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off • Twisted stitches
