These fingerless mitts are made entirely from slip stitches. The stretchy rib patterns gives a good fit and a lace star pattern decorates the hand.
In the 17 pages pattern, you learn with lots of step photos
back loop only slip stitch (B)
front loop only slip stitch (F)
inverse back loop only slip stitch (iB)
F 2 together
iB 2 together
short rows
invisible seam for B
The lace part is both written row by row and given by a chart. Slip stitches are not charted the usual way for crochet but the chart is easy to read.
yarn: Freche Wolloase Ge(h)twistet or Trekking Sport XXL
hook: 3.75 mm (US size F) or 3.5 (US size E)
