These two patterns are lovely and fairly simple and easy to follow.
I used a soft and cosy yarn from Katia. I picked this colour as it goes with so many things in my wardrobe. You can use any chunky / bulky yarn you like.
Both patterns give full, easy to follow written instruction in English with both British and American terms.
Both the hat and the scarf are knitted flat on two needles and the hat is joined together at the back.
The hat size* of 53cm is designed to stretch and fit an adult with a head circumference of 58cm/23in- 63cm/ 25in.
You need to know basic stitches, cast/bind on and off, knit, purl and how to do cable. However, it is not too difficult even if it is your first time doing cable.
